Another quick week has flown by and my roots are getting bigger! Keeping on top of the condition of my hair is working well, alternating washes between my Nioxin and the fabulous Label M purple shampoo and conditioner has really helped too. But unfortunately nothing can hold back the dark roots as my hair continues grow at an amazing rate!
I absolutely love the Neom range of candles and diffusers and I noticed recently, through an advert on face book, that they have recently brought out an electric Wellbeing Pod essential oil diffuser. I casually mentioned to my hubby that it would make a fabulous Christmas present and this week end Santa came earlier, as he had ordered for me and gave it to me on Saturday. It might appear pricey at £150 but it is good, the whole house smells amazing and 4/5 drops of the oil literally lasts all day. Being able to plug it in means its easy to take it to any room with you and there are a good variety of the essential oils you can choose from too.
Another lock down must have I came across was a tray for the bath to put your ipad on, a drink and other essential bath items. I am sure we all remember the old fashioned metal ones that everyone used to have when we were children, well this is more modern better looking version. Again my hubby kindly surprised me by ordering one for me so I tried it out this week, its fabulous, didn’t bother with the ipad as I prefer a relaxing bath, so a glass of fizz, neom candle and my Espa salt scrub, with the water topped up with a few drops of Jo Malone bath oil, heaven.
What can you do on a Saturday afternoon in lock down when its raining? Well I had noticed that a local café was offering on line orders and deliveries for afternoon tea so I booked one for us and arranged for it to be delivered for 3 pm.
Why 3 pm you might think, well live racing started this week end and whilst both of us are a once a year on the national, type of betters, we thought why not for a bit of fun. We realised we still had an on line account from our yearly bet in April and discovered we had £20 in it so we chose a few horses, sat back ate our absolutely delicious afternoon tea washed down with a glass of fizz. To make it even more perfect we won!
So now we have another little lock down event to look forward to, on the raining week ends!
Have a great week everyone and stay safe.
