What a busy month December has been, starting with December 1st and my advent calendar. This year instead of my Debenhams advent calendar I had the one from Marks and Spencer (thanks to my lovely hubby). Its promoted as having contents worth £300 and was on offer for £40, now I wouldnt agree its worth £300 but definitely a bargain at £40.00. There are some great products to try and I am looking forward to trying them out over the next few weeks, the biggest challenge has been trying to get the boxes back into the box!
I am also trying out some new Decleor products, the first of which is firmness serum oil which I have been adding into my night cream and so far I am really impressed with it, my skin looks and feels fab in the morning and you really only need a few drops to make a difference. The best price I have found is on https:www.gorgeousshop.com it was voted Best Anti-Aging product 2014 an award winning serum and contains; Geranium to help reduce the signs of aging, Lemongrass promotes collagen production and boosts firmness, Manuka to relax the skin, Iris which is toning and stimulating as well as avocado, jojoba, evening primrose, sandalwood and lavender oils.
I have blogged before about using the BB cream by Pure and they have now brought out a new version called a blemish balm, I really like this for on my neck it has great coverage and evens out my skin tone and blurs fine lines too, its a bargain from Home and Bargain at £1.99!
I have been to see both my grandchild in their nativity plays and they were so lovely, brought back some memories of seeing my own children at this age too, at both nearly 4 now they are so enthralled and excited its such a lovely time.
Had lovely evening with some close friends to kick start the season off, I cooked a Christmas dinner, fresh salmon to start with and then a Jamie Oliver turkey on croute main course followed by Christmas pudding.
Still sometime left before the big day and time for last minute shopping and preparation too!
